Formed in the year 1928 by an Englishman known as Lord Kylsant. Kylsant already owned the well known Aberdeen line and upon purchasing the much troubled Australian Commonwealth Line, amalgamated the two to form this Line. In 1933 the Kylsant group went bankrupt. The vessels which were operated under this line were purchased by the Shaw Saville Line.
