The Oceanic Steam Navigation Company was the official name of the White Star Line that was formed in 1869. The first class crockery had the letters O.S.N.C. layered on top of eachother but the name of white star line is on the rear of the crockery. The second class crockery was decorated with pretty blue florals (delft design) with a brown flag and ‘white star’line’ in the centre. The third class crockery had the red flag with ‘white star line’.
